First time at Breathe Barre?

We’re so happy to have you! Our classes are open to all fitness and experience levels.
 We also offer specialty classes, workshops, and trainings throughout the year – keep an eye on our newsletter and Instagram for updates.
For your first class:
 • Arrive 10 minutes early
 • Let your instructor know if you’re injured, have any conditions, or are pregnant
 • Wear comfortable activewear
 • Bring a sweat towel and water bottle
 • If attending our Power:Reform classes (exclusive to Cape Town),  grip socks are required and available in studio for purchase.

Question 2

How do I book a class?

Accepted Answer

• Visit our website and click on ‘Book’, or
 • Download the Fit by Wix app and use invite code A5KUDU to sign up. Once you’ve signed in, you can book and pay under the ‘Book’ tab or purchase a class/package under the ‘Buy’ tab and book later.

Please note:
 • Bookings close 30 minutes before class starts.
 • You’ll need an active class or package to book.
 • Bookings are tied to your profile and you can only book for yourself under your profile and account– if you'd like to book for someone else or for more people, please email us at info@breathebarre.co.za and we’ll see how we can help.

Question 3

Group Class + Power:Reform Packages

Accepted Answer

• Single Class: Valid for one online or in-studio class
 • 5 or 10 Class Pass: Valid for 8 weeks from the date of first use
 • Monthly Unlimited: Valid for 30 days from the date of first use
Please note: Our group class packages are valid for a set period and cannot be extended.

Question 4

Waitlists

Accepted Answer

• You can join the waitlist for any full class (with a valid credit)
 • Spots are offered first come, first served basis
 • You’ll get a push notification if a spot opens (please make sure that push notifications are turned on)
 • You’ll have 30 minutes to confirm
 • If you don’t confirm in time, it moves to the next person
 • You can check your waitlist position via the app

Question 5

Cancellation policy

Accepted Answer

• Group Classes: Cancel at least 12 hours before class to keep your credit
 • Private Pilates Sessions: Cancel at least 24 hours before your session is scheduled to avoid being charged
Late cancellations, no-shows, or late arrivals will result in the class/session being forfeited.

Question 6

Class equipment + what to wear

Accepted Answer

We provide all equipment and mats. We only ask that you wipe down your mats and any equipment used after class and neatly return mats and equipment back to the designated areas.

Wear comfortable activewear you can move in.

Grip socks:
 • Barre, Pilates & Sculpt: Optional, but recommended
 • Power:Reform (Cape Town only): Required (available to purchase at the studio)

Question 7

Pregnant

Accepted Answer

Congratulations! Many of our clients continue classes safely during pregnancy.

Please make sure you have clearance from your healthcare provider before continuing to exercise and let your instructor know before class starts.
 
We’ll support you with modifications tailored to your journey.

Question 8

Arrival & late policy

Our studios open at least 15–20 minutes before class.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early, dressed and ready to move. Each studio has one change room.

If you arrive very early and a private session is in progress, please wait quietly in the reception area while we finish up.

Late entry:
 • Barre, Pilates & Sculpt: No entry after 10 minutes
 • Power:Reform: No entry once the class has started
